Stone & Marble

Marble Slabs & Countertops from China

Marble, quartz and sintered stone from our Foshan factory — slabs, countertops, feature walls and flooring, vein-matched for projects.

Three things decide whether a stone order works: the batch behind the material, how it is cut and vein-matched, and how it is packed for the sea. A slab that looks right in a photo can still arrive mislabelled, mismatched or cracked — and that outcome almost always comes from layout and packing, not price.

George Group has exported building materials from Foshan since 2006: 20 years' industry experience, 10,000+ projects delivered, 50+ countries served. We ship stone inside whole-project orders, so one container can carry your slabs, cabinets, tiles and sanitary ware together.

Vein-matched marble countertops with waterfall edges — custom fabricated in Foshan
What we make

Built to your drawings, not to a catalogue

Every unit is measured in millimetres against your approved shop drawings — dimensions, materials, colours and hardware all confirmed in writing before cutting starts.

We work with five material families and fabricate in our own 100,000 m² factory, with a 30,000 m² showroom in Foshan where full-size samples can be compared side by side.

**Natural marble** — Calacatta, Carrara, Nero Marquina and similar types; book-matched for feature walls, vanities and statement floors. **Sintered stone** (large-format porcelain) — a consistent surface with low water absorption, suited to floors, walls and countertops. **Engineered quartz** — uniform colour, non-porous; the workhorse material for kitchen tops and bathroom vanities.

**Travertine and limestone** — warm, quiet tones for flooring, cladding and sills. **Granite** — hard and heat-tolerant for kitchen tops, stairs and high-traffic surfaces.

Product scope: slabs, countertops and vanity tops with sink and cooktop cut-outs, feature walls, stone flooring, stair treads and window sills, tabletops and reception desks. Fabrication uses bridge saws and water-jet cutting, with edges polished, honed, bevelled, bullnose or mitred as drawn.

How ordering works

From your drawings to one consolidated shipment

Four steps, one project manager, and documented evidence at every stage — from the first drawing to the loading photos.

  1. Share Your Drawings

Floor plans, a BOQ or even a room list are enough to start. We reply with the questions that matter and a first indication of what fits your container.

  2. Confirm the Details

Shop drawings, materials, colours and hardware confirmed against a physical sample, followed by an itemised quotation — no hidden lines.

  3. Production & QC

Weekly progress photos and a documented pre-shipment inspection against your approved drawings before anything is packed.

  4. Consolidated Loading

Several categories share one container, labelled by room and unit, with loading photos and one packing list before the ship sails.

Choose by project

What works for your kind of project

A villa, an apartment development, a hotel and a distributor each need a different balance of cost, durability and repetition.

  • Villa or private house

    Villa or private house

One book-matched wall or island often carries the whole design. Select the block first, then plan the room around what the stone actually looks like — we send photos and dry-lay images before anything is cut.

Cost guidance

What it costs, level by level

Relative cost tiers for orientation only: the itemised quotation is built line by line from your approved specification.

Stone is quoted per project, not per catalogue. The table below ranks each material by relative cost.

Relative cost by stone material
Material Relative cost Notes
Sintered stone slabs $$ Large formats; standard fabrication tooling
Engineered quartz slabs $$$ Colour and quartz brand move the cost
Natural marble slabs $$$$ Selected and book-matched sets price higher
Travertine and limestone $$ Filled versus unfilled surfaces differ
Granite slabs $$ Batch colour drives the top end

Five things move the price

  1. Material and batch — the same marble name from a different block can price differently.

  2. Size and thickness — oversized panels and thick tops consume more material and need stronger crating.

  3. Fabrication — mitres, waterfall ends, cut-outs and book-match layouts add bench time.

  4. Finish — polished versus honed usually differs little; brushed, leathered or specialist low-slip surfaces cost more.

  5. Volume and loading — a full container lowers freight per m²; small quantities share space in a mixed container.

The design fee, credited back in full

Fabricated pieces — countertops, vanity tops and wall sets — are quoted from the drawing, where cutting, edges, cut-outs and vein matching make up the piece price. The design stage is quoted up front as a transparent fee you approve in advance, and when your order value reaches twenty times that fee, the full design fee is credited back against your invoice — applied automatically, without a separate request.

  • Credit applied automatically — no request needed

MOQ & mixed loading

No artificial MOQ, one shared container

Small orders are normal here — the question is only how to fill the container economically.

The smallest stone order depends on the material, the sizes and whether it ships alone or alongside other products. A few pallets of standard panels or sills can travel in a mixed container with kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, tiles, sanitary ware, lighting and furniture — one loading plan, one set of export documents, one delivery window in Foshan.

Mixed-container loading is how most of our whole-project orders ship. It suits phased apartment and hotel fit-outs, because each crate is already numbered by room or unit, so your local team can install floor by floor as the container is unpacked.

Whole-project orders also include design support: file drawings, layout plans and material schedules. **Design fee 100% credited back** — once your order value reaches 20 times the design fee, the fee is credited in full against the order.

How it works

  1. Send your cutting list, floor plans or photos — a coordinator replies within one working day.

  2. Choose the material from the actual stock: we photograph the slabs or video-call the yard, so you select real stone, not a catalogue picture.

  3. We produce layout and vein-matching drawings for your approval — where every piece lands and which way the vein runs.

  4. You review and confirm or request changes — nothing is cut on assumptions.

  5. The factory cuts, edges and finishes your order.

  6. QC includes a dry-lay: pieces laid out and photographed in position, dimensions checked against the approved drawings.

  7. Stone is crated, labelled by room and sequence, loaded and shipped — DDP to your door or FOB from our port, your choice.

  8. Installation drawings and after-sales support stay with your order until the stone is set.

Quality evidence

Five pieces of evidence, without asking

Every order collects documented proof along the project chain — from approved shop drawings to the photos of the loaded container.

Every stone order leaves a paper and image trail. You receive, in order:

Two points of honesty. On-site installation is not included unless separately agreed — we supply, fabricate and ship; fitting stays with your local team. And colour and finish approval is against physical samples: screens and photos differ, so images alone are not the final acceptance reference.

Certificates are shared on request per category. Tell us the destination market and the material you are considering, and we will confirm which test reports and factory documents apply.

Ask for the sample set and the QC records you want to see — WhatsApp (+44 7719 795480); a coordinator replies within one working day.

  1. Shop drawing confirmation

dimensions, vein layout, edge profiles and cut-outs agreed before cutting begins.

  2. In-production photos and videos

slab selection, cutting and edge polishing, plus dry-lay shots of book-matched sets.

  3. Pre-shipment inspection

thickness and surface checks, and colour compared against the physical sample you approved; findings and photos are shared with you.

  4. Packing list numbered by room or unit

every crate and pallet labelled by room, elevation and sequence, matched to the container plan.

  5. Container loading photos

A-frame or crate packing with foam between faces, photographed as the container is loaded.

Lead time & shipping

From deposit to a loaded container

Timescales depend on the finish you choose and the season, and we confirm both before you commit.

Standard stone production runs 25–35 days. Custom profiles, large book-match sets or rare stone sourcing can extend to 40–50 days. Slabs travel on A-frames or in wooden crates; tops and sills are edge-protected and strapped. Every crate carries a label that matches the packing list.

We load in Foshan, either as a full container or consolidated with other categories, and hand over export documents, packing lists and loading photos before departure. The order runs Share Your Brief → Design & Quotation → Approve the Details → Production & QC → Packing & Shipping → Delivery & Support, and each step has one owner on our side — a coordinator who stays with your order from the first drawing to after-sales support.

What is the MOQ for marble or sintered stone?

It depends on the material, the sizes and whether the order ships alone or with other products. Small quantities can often be coordinated into a mixed-container order, so a single pallet is a realistic starting point for many projects.

Can you book-match the veins across panels?

Yes. We lay out the full set before cutting and send dry-lay photos for approval. The layout is fixed only after you approve it, so the wall reads as one piece rather than separate slabs.

How do you keep colour consistent across a large order, and on reorders?

We reserve material from one batch for the whole project and keep the batch record on your file. For reorders we match as closely as the quarry allows, and we will tell you honestly when a perfect match is not possible.

Can stone ship in the same container as cabinets and other products?

Yes. Mixed-container loading is standard for us: stone shares a container with kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, tiles, sanitary ware, lighting and furniture, planned by room or unit with one consolidated packing list.

Do you provide certificates?

Certificates are shared on request per category. Send the destination market and the product, and we will confirm which test reports and factory documents apply before you order.

Is installation included?

No — on-site installation is not included unless separately agreed. We supply, fabricate, pack and ship; your local installer fits the material on site.

Can I approve samples before production?

Yes. Physical samples are the reference for colour and finish. Screens and photos can vary, so images alone are not used as the final acceptance basis.

How long do production and shipping take?

Standard production is 25–35 days; custom shapes and rare stone can take 40–50 days. Add sea transit to your port, plus consolidation time if the stone ships with other categories.
